'Into the Wild' is a biographical adventure drama film based on real events of Chris McCandless's life, who hit the road for a two-year trip across the west of America at the age of 22. This young college graduate was hopeful that this journey would eventually take him to the Alaskan wilderness.
The film reflects diverse perspectives of life. Every human makes many unsolvable mistakes throughout life. These mistakes can ruin one's life entirely. So, it is crucial to be aware and calculative about making choices. However, we should not suppress our longings and stop chasing our desires for just being afraid to make wrong moves or avoid mistakes.
Also, this film promotes that every individual should have the courage to kick against society's judgment as well as parent’s authority and live life to the fullest. It portrays numerous scenarios about domestic violence, toxic relationship, parental authority, materialistic society, capitalist world, brutality and violence of law enforcement officer, unexpected hardships of life, the inevitability of death and many more. In brief, it shows the actual reality and the uncertainty of life.
